【English Translation】 All-knowing Lama Ngagwang Kunga Sonam Drakpa Gyaltsen Pal Zangpo, Jamyang Sonam Wangchuk, Ngakchang Kunga Tashi, Dorje Chang Ngagwang Kunga Sonam Rinchen Tashi Drakpa Gyaltsen Pal Zangpo. 7-170 To have obtained such a precious human body with leisure and opportunity is largely due to the lineage of us two brothers. Furthermore, if we speak of the deities of the four tantras, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, Pratyekabuddhas, Shravakas, accomplished Vidyadharas, heroes and Dakinis, Dharma protectors, Yakshas, and the assembly of wealth deities, it seems that all refuges are included within this. As for the distinctions within, they are inconceivable. For example, in this present Fortunate Aeon, after the teachings of the three Buddhas before Shakyamuni—Krakucchanda Buddha, Kanakamuni Buddha, and Kashyapa Buddha—have been completed, even if we consider the teachings of our own teacher, the refuges spoken of in the three pitakas and four tantras are inconceivable. And how many wise and accomplished beings who hold these lineages have appeared in India! In Tibet, whether in the early or later dissemination of the teachings, they are in accordance with the Buddha's teachings, and there are many different schools explained by various wise and accomplished beings. It is impossible to enumerate the names of each of these guides.
