【English Translation】 NKL179 from the Collected Teachings of Ngawang Kunga Lodro: How to Perform the Practice of Karmic Yama How to Perform the Practice of Karmic Yama How to Perform the Practice of Karmic Yama. The method for practicing the propitiation of the Lord of Death, the Karmic Yama, is as follows, according to Jamyang Gonpo Sonam Phuntsok: If practicing the single hero form (དཔའ་གཅིག), prepare one triangular torma (གཏོར་མ) adorned with meat and butter. If not practicing the thirteen-deity form, prepare two triangular tormas, one large and one small, for the inner and outer parts of the four directions, and one small triangular torma for each of the four intermediate directions, all adorned with meat and butter.
