【English Translation】 These are verses from the Teachings of Sangye Puntsok Collection SP29, offering the seven-branch prayer to Chenrezig (Avalokiteśvara). Verses offering the seven-branch prayer to Chenrezig (Avalokiteśvara) and a supplication with plaintive melody. Om Swasti! Supreme embodiment of the wisdom and compassion of all Buddhas of the three times. Avalokiteśvara, lord of the three realms. Especially, the sole protector of the cool, snowy land. You who possess immeasurable enlightened activity, to you I bow. I offer you with actual and mentally created Samantabhadra offerings. I confess each and every transgression and fault. Especially towards my kind parents in this life, I confess and admit any contempt or harsh words I have uttered. I rejoice in all virtue of samsara and nirvana, past, present, and future. I urge you to turn the vast wheel of Dharma. I beseech you to remain always, without passing into sorrow (nirvana). I dedicate all merit towards attaining unsurpassed enlightenment. May I in this life have longevity, health, and wealth, And in future lives, in Sukhavati (the Pure Land of Amitabha) and other realms, Be born and perfect the paths and bhumis of the Great Vehicle, And attain the state of omniscience. Through the blessings of the root and lineage gurus, the Three Jewels, The unchanging nature of reality, and the unfailing power of dependent origination, May I and all sentient beings, mothers equal to space, Accomplish this aspiration as we have wished. This was written by the renunciate Sangye Puntsok at the request of some seekers. Mangalam (May there be auspiciousness)! A supplication to Chenrezig with plaintive melody. Protector Chenrezig, who becomes the protector of the unprotected, Please regard with compassion this cry of distress. I lack the confidence and courage, Like a hunter who is cunning and pretends to be good. You are the sole treasury of refuge for me, a shameless and sinful being. My situation is clear and unmixed, It is entirely within your compassionate awareness, Protector. To sustain this life, to benefit myself and others as much as possible, May all my wishes that accord with the Dharma, Be spontaneously fulfilled by the Protector, without any effort. If that is not possible, may you quickly guide this body, the ripening of sinful deeds, To the realm of Sukhavati. Even if I do not have the fortune to see your face directly, If you do not show me even a glimpse in a dream, These words of us who are controlled by the five senses are despairing. Please consider this, you who possess immeasurable compassion. This is also a prayer by Sangye Puntsok. Mangalam (May there be auspiciousness)! Verses of supplication to the noble Avalokiteśvara with heartfelt intensity. Om Swasti! Root guru, lineage guru, Three Jewels, Yidam deity, Especially, the protector of Sukhavati, Avalokiteśvara.

【現代漢語翻譯】具慧明眼諸位大德，祈請以發心與願力垂念。以大悲、慈、能力之功德，如今成就心中所繫之義。我等為惡業所苦，因隨順世間行事而受苦，捨棄此身，轉生於持舟之處（指蓮花中）。獲得大勇、神通與神變等，以菩薩行之大海，令教法與眾生之根本堅固。尤其令漂泊于相對關係者，迅速獲得增上生與決定勝，享用安樂，證得無上菩提。愿此祈願之處無礙成就！于龍年薩嘎月（藏曆四月）釋迦牟尼佛節日，桑吉彭措（人名）以金剛持袞噶桑波（人名）為本尊，立誓守持誓言，吉祥！

【English Translation】 Those with clear eyes of wisdom, Please consider with the power of aspiration and prayer. With the merits of great compassion, love, and ability, Now accomplish this meaning cherished in the heart. We who are tormented by unbearable karma, Suffer from engaging in worldly affairs, Abandon this body and are born in the place of holding the boat (referring to a lotus). Having obtained great courage, clairvoyance, and miraculous powers, etc., May the root of the teachings and beings be firm, Through the ocean of the conduct of the Bodhisattvas. Especially may those wandering in relative dependencies, Quickly attain higher realms and definite goodness, Enjoying glory and attaining supreme enlightenment. May this place of aspiration be accomplished without obstacles! On the day of the festival of Buddha Shakyamuni in the Dragon Year, Saga month (Tibetan April), Sangye Phuntsok made a vow to uphold the samaya with Vajradhara Kunga Zangpo as the Yidam. May it be auspicious!
