Your body is like a coral mountain, free from dust, Blazing with the radiance of the fire at the end of time. May the hordes of demons be crushed into citta (藏文，梵文天城體：चित्त，梵文羅馬擬音：citta，漢語字面意思：心) mulch, I praise you, whose form is both elegant and heroic. Your face is like that of a wrathful Yama (閻魔，梵文天城體：यम，梵文羅馬擬音：yama，漢語字面意思：閻魔), baring your fangs, Your tongue flickers, and your three eyes glare at enemies. Black wind pours from your nostrils, filling the three thousand worlds, I praise you, slayer of misleading demons. Adorned with bright red earrings and bone ornaments, Your hair is tied back, and you wear a copper helmet on your head. With a skull diadem and a necklace of wet skulls, I praise you, whose form is fierce and terrifying. You wear red copper armor on your body, And a sheepskin cloak, dripping with blood. Your feet are adorned with Sakti boots, I praise you, who wields endless terror. Your right hand brandishes a blazing copper sword into the sky, Your left hand holds the enemy's lungs and heart to your chest. You carry a banner, club, arrow, and bow under your arm, I praise you, the powerful Dharma protector who keeps your vows. With wrathful and terrifying legs, one bent and one extended, You stand upon a red horse, on the seat of the corpse of an oath-breaker, Residing in a majestic and crushing manner. I praise you, the powerful one. To your left, A fierce and unbearable ogress stands proudly on a bear skin throne, A terrifying form, the red-faced goddess of existence. I praise you, the wrathful Rakshasi (羅剎女，梵文天城體：राक्षस，梵文羅馬擬音：rākṣasa，漢語字面意思：羅剎女). Your face is red and smooth like buffalo hide, Your fangs are sharp and white like conch shells, and your eyebrows are turquoise. Your tongue flickers, and your three eyes flash like lightning, I praise you, the great mother of existence. With the right hand's copper sword, severing the enemy's life, with the left hand's iron stake, crushing the host of obstacles. Extremely wrathful, extending and contracting, the feet move in dance, I praise the lord of the lotus dance. At the right corner of the blood-red Yama Shud (夜摩事務尊), above the fat and arrogant blue jackal. Supreme sovereign, red lord of life, chief of the eight classes, I praise the slaughterer of the oath-breaking sinners. Body color blazing like the fire of the eon's end, wrathful wrinkles flashing like a thousand lightning bolts, tightly binding the 'oṃ' (oṃ, seed syllable, 唵, seed syllable of body, speech, and mind). The terrifying angry eyes darting in all ten directions, grinding the enemy's heart into powder, I praise you. On the head, wearing a helmet blazing with fire, on the body, adorned with armor radiant as the young sun. The right hand holding a red spear, the left hand holding a forceful snare, I praise you who reduce the unruly to ashes. The main deity and retinue surrounded in a sea of blood, eight holding knives and twenty-one corpses. Demons, yakshas, rakshasas in wrathful forms, I praise the fierce and blazing assembly. All shining like a mountain of padmaraga with rays of heat, holding various terrifying weapons in their hands. In an instant, liberating the oath-breaking enemies, and the unruly executioners. Furthermore, the retinue of the yaksha lord, including demons, matrikas, theurang, Yama, and so on. The arrogant hosts of gods and spirits of existence, I praise all who possess immeasurable power and strength. Yama Shud (夜摩事務尊), you protect the doctrine of Thubpa (釋迦能仁), cherish the Sangha who uphold it like children. Increase the happiness and well-being of the world like the waxing moon, effortlessly accomplish the entrusted tasks. Especially, may the precious oral transmission doctrine of the Vajradhara himself, Tsharpa (蔡巴) Rje, spread in all ten directions. Swiftly liberate the oath-breaking sinners who oppose it with a long-lasting method. Yogis, myself, teachers, and retinue, entrusting you as companions in this life, the next, and the bardo. Grant long life, freedom from illness, traverse all paths, and accomplish the activity of attaining the state of Vajradhara. This praise to the yaksha lord Begtse Chen and retinue, called 'The Terrifying Roar of Yama,' was composed by Sakyapa Kunga Lodro Sangye Tenpai Gyaltsen Pal Zangpo, with a single-pointed devotion to the precious oral transmission doctrine of the Vajradhara himself, Dhikasha Mutra, praising the Dharma protector Yama Shud (夜摩事務尊).
